Post Reactions

Reactions are similar to likes, but are more expressive. When you are reading a post you can simply 'Like' it, or you can send a Reaction.

Click React 1, and a box will appear below for you to scroll through emojis. As well as the more familiar ones, your server admin may have created additional sets. Click any one of the emojis to send a more expressive like for the post.

If you use an emoji which is specific to your server, it still work across other servers.

No. Reactions are unique to Firefish, Misskey, Pleroma and Akkoma at the moment.

Anyone on one of these server types will see it, but other services (for example Mastodon) will simply accept it as another standard 'Like' – so the author of the post is still aware of your appreciation.
