Share or Like a post

Unlike Commercial Social Services, there is NO algorithm in the Fediverse to artificially build your Timeline. If a post has 623 likes it has not greater prominence on your timeline. You always see posts from who you follow, in date order.

What to use, and when:

• Boost: Share a post to your followers. The author of the original post will be notified.
  
  
• Favourite: An acknowledgement to the post creator that you appreciate the content.
  
  
• Reply: Have a conversation with the Author; interact directly.
