Boost

Boosting a post is equivalent to Sharing it. Both terms are used interchangeably on the Fediverse.

When you boost, you are choosing to share the post with your own Followers, out with that of the original poster's reach. It is a great way to share information, and also grow your and others reach. More people will see the content, and may therefore interact/follow you or the original poster.

To boost a post, click 1 at the bottom of a post you are reading. If you boosted in error, you can click again to revoke your boost. You can also revoke the boost later, not just at the time of the boost.

Tip You can boost your own posts too. After Publishing your own post, come back at a later point and boost it.

Info Depending on the Visibility of the original post, you may not be able to Boost it.
