Misskey
Misskey is the second more popular software service on the fediverse, based on registered users – Mastodon being the top spot.
Misskey, on a very broad level it is similar to Facebook – text posts, with optional images attached; people interact and reply to these posts. However, it has added many additional features to make it a standout alternative. Development started in 2014. It is most popular in Japan.
