Pixelfed is compatible with the Mastodon API standard. This is a set of rules on how software applications communicate with a Mastodon server. Being compatible with the standard allows Pixelfed to be access using other applications.

Not all applications will work, as they may have not be entirely compatible. Below is a list of those which have been tested and are function.
